ISRAEL 2002 – PARIS SG 15-11
Israel’s tight defence was the key element which decided a close game. The Israelis prevailed to clinch first place ahead of local club Filippos which finished second in the group and will join Israel to the next stage. The French team bounced back after being three goals down in the first half, as they made it 9-9 with ten minutes still on the clock, but they faded in the end.
Alex Brcovic (Israel 2002 Coach): “It was kinda early in the morning, nevertheless we managed to win, after playing well. We want to keep on winning starting from the quarter-final game.”
