Israel emerged victorious at the VRILITTOS 2017 final game against holders and claimed their maiden trophy. The Israelis thus avenged for their 2014 loss to Croatia. The game was a close fight, but Israel was always in command holding a slender advantage which didn’t exceed a three-goal difference.

Mislav Turcic (Croatia Zagreb Coach): “It was a very tough game. Congratulations to Israel. They have a really strong team. We didn’t fight as hard as we could.”

Alex Brcovic (Israel Coach): “We were the better team today. I am so excited. Although these players have hardly trained together before they showed their potential and deserved to win. I would like to thank the organisers for providing us with the opportunity to be here. I trust they will invite us again next year.”
